Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Casablanca – Rabat
Your tour starts in Casablanca with a visit to the Hassan II Mosque and the Corniche along the Atlantic. After that, in the afternoon you drive to Rabat, the capital, to see the Hassan Tower and the Kasbah of the Udayas, and spend the night in a traditional riad.

Day 2Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
We drive to Meknes, the imperial city of Moulay Ismail, and to Volubilis, the best preserved Roman ruins in Morocco, before arriving in Fes for the night.

Day 3Fes
A guided visit of the medina of Fes: the souks, the old Koranic schools, the famous tanneries and the Al Quaraouiyine university, one of the oldest in the world. Later, in the afternoon, enjoy a panoramic view over the medina.

Day 4Fes – Ifrane – Ziz Valley – Merzouga
We cross the Middle Atlas via Ifrane and the cedar forests, then follow the Ziz Valley to Merzouga, at the edge of the Sahara.

Day 5Merzouga and the Sahara
You explore the desert villages and meet Berber families, then ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes for the sunset and spend the night in a desert camp with music and dinner under the stars.

Day 6Merzouga – Todra Gorge – Dades Valley
After the sunrise over the dunes, you drive to the Todra Gorge for a walk in the canyon and continue to the Dades Valley, famous for its rock formations.

Day 7Dades Valley – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
We follow the Road of a Thousand Kasbahs to Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and cross the High Atlas to Marrakech.

Day 8Marrakech
A day to discover Marrakech: Jemaa el-Fna square, the Majorelle Garden, the Bahia Palace and the souks.

Day 9Free day in Marrakech
Enjoy Marrakech at your own pace: a hammam, the markets or an optional day trip to the Atlas Mountains.

Day 10Departure
Transfer to the airport for your flight home.
