Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Marrakech
Welcome to Marrakech, one of the four imperial cities of Morocco. After that, you have free time to explore Jemaa el-Fna square, the souks and the old medina, with its colourful markets, food stalls and palaces.

Day 2Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Valley
We cross the High Atlas over the Tizi n'Tichka pass and visit the kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous film location. The road then continues to the Dades Valley for dinner and the night.

Day 3Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga
You walk in the Todra Gorge, then drive through palm groves and desert landscapes to Merzouga. Later, at sunset you ride a camel across the Erg Chebbi dunes and spend the night in a Berber camp under the stars.

Days 4 to 7: Merzouga, Fes and the imperial cities
After the sunrise over the dunes, the tour continues north through the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas to Fes, the cultural capital of Morocco, with time to discover its medina. The last days are planned with you, according to your interests and your flight: the imperial cities, the blue town of Chefchaouen or a return to Marrakech.
