What is the difference between a group and a private tour?

In the desert

What is the desert camp like?

You sleep in a Berber tent in the dunes, with beds and warm blankets. Dinner and breakfast are included, and the evening ends with Berber music around the fire.

Do I have to ride a camel?

No. The camel ride is gentle and suitable for most people, but you can also reach the camp by 4×4.

Is it cold at night?

From November to February, nights in the desert can get close to freezing. Bring warm clothes; the camp provides heavy blankets. Read the best time to visit the Sahara.

What should I bring?

Layers of clothes, a scarf, sunglasses, sunscreen and a small bag for the night. See our packing list.
